IT’S ECO-FRIENDLY FRIDAY!
Today’s green tip is about your laundry. Did you know that 90% of the energy involved in washing your clothes comes from heating the water, not running the washing machine? So an easy way to be more energy efficient is to wash on the cold water setting. Most detergents are designed to work just as well in cold water as they do in warm water, even if it doesn’t say so on the container. By using the cold water cycle, you’re doing the earth a favor. And you’re still getting your clothes clean. Now if I could just get someone to come over and fold them.
