Nutella Yogurt Fruit Dip

Nutella + Greek yogurt = delicious fruit dip

When that craving hits to indulge in a decadent treat, you don’t have to reach any further than a jar of Nutella, right?  But stir in some Greek yogurt and you’ve got a wonderful dip for your favorite fruit.

By using a 2:1 ratio of Greek yogurt:Nutella, you can make as much or as little fruit dip as you want.  Treat yourself or a crowd.  This is going to please everybody!

{two years ago:  cucumber lemonade}

Recipe:  Nutella Yogurt Fruit Dip

plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
Nutella spread
assorted fruit

Whisk Greek yogurt and Nutella together until smooth and creamy, using a 2:1 ratio.  For example, if you use 1 cup of yogurt, you’ll add 1/2 cup of Nutella.  (You may want to pop the Nutella into the microwave for a few seconds to soften it up and help it combine with the yogurt more easily.)  Serve with your favorite fruit.

    I would have never thought to combine these two flavors…but I bet it’s delicious. Plus, adding the Greek yogurt makes the Nutella healthier, right? Right!

    Stephanie – You and I are on the same wavelength. I figured that the addition of yogurt made it okay to indulge in the Nutella. : )

    ooh, great idea! nutella alone isn’t a convenient dip (although that’s not to say i don’t still try), so incorporating yogurt is downright brilliant.

    Akyra – I never post a recipe that I haven’t tried myself. The nutella yogurt dip has been one of my favorites in a while and you won’t be disappointed. :)

    Molly – The fruit dip can be refrigerated. We had a bit leftover and it kept well in a closed container in the fridge. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

    Gina – I haven’t tried that, but I think it’d work fine. I’ve made Nutella popsicles and I’ve made frozen yogurt, so as far as I’m concerned it’s nothing more than combining the two. Thanks for a delicious idea!
