Mummy cookie pops
How totally fun are these? As soon as I saw them, I knew these little mummies would be going to 1st grade with Claudia. Life has been super hectic around here, so the fact that this starts out with an oreo was a real selling point for me. I was in a bit of a rush, so the mummy wraps are a little haphazard, but they were still a bit hit with the kids.

Recipe: Mummy Cookie Pops
(from How Does She?)
oreo cookies, double stuffed centers
lolllipop sticks
white candy melts
royal icing eyes (I found these at Sweet!)
Insert a lollipop stick into each cookie. Melt candy melts according to package directions. Dip each cookie and place on a waxed paper lined baking sheet. Immediately place two eyes on each cookie. Refrigerate until candy has set. Drizzle white candy over the top of each cookie to “wrap” the mummies head. (I only drizzled the front of each cookie.) Return to refrigerator until set.
Too cute!
Oh my gosh, you are almost motivating me to leave the house (and I have a horrible cold) and get supplies for these. So cute!

Okay, so I tried the cake pop thing… And it just didn’t work out for me. But these? I think I could handle these. And my kids would be just as impressed!
